The Hanging Church is located in the neighborhood of Ancient Egypt, in the important archaeological area of Coptic Cairo, and it is called the Hanging because it was built on two of the ancient towers of the Roman Fort (Fortress of Babylon), that which was built by Emperor Trajan in the second century AD, and the suspension is considered the oldest Churches that remain in Egypt.
