Itinerary

Day 1Monasteries of Saint Victor ,The Cross and St. Shenouda, St . Anba Andras ( Abou El Leif‏ ), the Holy Archangel Mickhael , Abu Sefen,Church of the Virgin Mary in Luxor and Holy Archangel Mickhael Coptic Orthodox Church

you will be received in the morning from the Luxor bus station and then afterwards you will visit
The Monastery of Saint Victor ” Mari Buqtur ”
which is located on a hill above the nature of the region topped by a distance of 10 meters or more, which gives a breathtaking view across the Nile Valley as it overlooks vast areas of agricultural land and the visitor to see the magic of this magnificent view in the dawn moments before sending the sun for its initial rays and also in the moments of sunset
The monastery buildings are one of the oldest existing buildings of Naqada monasteries and their construction is confirmed on the archaeological hill which contains many of the archaeological roof and the remains of the old buildings
The monastery of Saint Elias Bishoyawy originated as a wild church for this great martyr in the late fourth century AD, but in the following centuries the church became a monastery with its contents
One historian attributed the present building of the monastery church to the eighth or ninth century on the basis of the form of the apse
In its architecture, the new church assembled domes and vaults

This monastery is one of the oldest monasteries named after the cross, and was built by Queen Helena, mother of King Constantine
The Monastery of ” The Cross ” was established in the fourth century and is the only monastery in the name of the cross in Egypt and the second church in the world after the Church of Jerusalem.
The Monastery of ” The Cross ” is a historic breakthrough and visitors from all over the world come to it as a tourist attraction to see the history of Egypt through the ages.
Your next step will be The monastery of St . Anba Andras ( Abou El Leif‏ )
The Monastery of Saint Abou El Leif is located just east of monastery of the cross and about 100 m east of it. The church is located in the middle of the ring wall.
After truncating the room in the western corner of the church next to the entrance
The courtyard of the monastery has a tree that yields some plants such as dates and is said to heal diseases . The monastery officials say that the age of the tree is unknown and people from all over the world come to the monastery to visit the monastery and take a blessing from the sacred tree to cure their diseases.
Your next step will be The Monastery of the Holy Archangel Mickhael in Naqada which is located 4 km southwest of Naqada and the rest of the monastery is the archaeological church. It consists of a small entrance hall from the middle of the western wall entering the main church.
It consists of three structures and a semi-khorse of three domes and a nave
All the domes of the monastery are low of mud brick and the monastery buildings often date back to the 18th and 19th centuries .
There are some archaeological columns inside the monastery church, which indicates that the monastery has a very ancient history
next stop will be : Monastery of the great martyr Abu Sefen
Monastery of the great martyr Abu Sfeen is located 10 km west of Naqada, about 200 meters southeast of the monastery of St. George complex, and the ratio of the monastery to the Bishop Bisanti wearing the spirit Bishop of Qeft, which I recommend his student to bury this place and not to go elsewhere His disciples built a dome above his grave to be a shrine for them. Then the guide will take you to the ship for accommodation and have you lunch there after that he will take you to continue you visit and next stop will be
Church of the Virgin Mary in Luxor :
The foundation stone was laid in 1898, and the church was consecrated on February 23, 1909 AD by His Holiness Pope Kyrillos V Patriarch 112 in the Pontifical Bishop Markos Bishop of Luxor.
The the guide will take you to the final stop in this day to visit
Saint Michael Coptic Orthodox Church,
Michael is the archangel and is also the first of the seven above-mentioned archangels,
The Church therefore considers him to be the chief archangel who always stands before the Lord, intercedes with us before the Lord, and defends the Church from its enemies.
Then the guide will take you back to the boat for dinner and overnight

Day 2Monastery of Saint Pachomius, and The Monastery of the Saints

Early in the morning after having breakfast, the guide will come to take you to visit
Monastery of Saint Pachomius:
The monastery dates back to the fourth century AD .. It is one of the main monasteries built by St. Anba Pachomius ” father of the company ”
The monastery represents an important Bakhoumi era, and history states that the Bakhoumi monasteries had as many as 2,000 monks. The monastery dates back to the 4th century AD.
The breath of St. Anba Pachomius is clearly extended in the folds of the monastery and its leaves
The monastery consists of an archaeological church surrounded by a fence that collects the garden
The church consists of six structures in one half and a cross in front of the temple separated from the courtyard with a wall with small doors and inside the walls there are some stones decorated with crosses and ancient writings
The archaeological church is built on the authentic Coptic heritage, where it is surmounted by 32 dome and has a shrine of the late fathers, the bishops who sat on the chair of Esna
. Your next step will be The Monastery of the Saints which is located on Mount El Tod, east of the Nile, 20 km south of Luxor .
The Monastery of Saints is called by this name because there is more than one saint in it where the body of St. Anba Beshay, St. Anba Besantaas, and Anba Source, and these saints lived in this area and sanctified it with their pure prayers.
Once you have set foot in the monastery, you feel like you are in one of the old country houses, where mud bricks were used to build the two churches that make up the monastery.
After that the guide will take you to the boat for lunch and sail to Edfu

Day 3Church of the Virgin Mary in Edfu, Church of the Martyr Margirgis St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church and St. Michael Coptic Orthodox Church

Early morning your guide will come after having breakfast in Edfu where you will visit
the Church of the Virgin Mary in Edfu, known as the “Church of the Apparition”
where the appearance of the Virgin Mary in this church on August 21, 1982
After that you will head to a local restaurant in Edfu to have lunch
Then you will go toward Kom Ombo to complete your Coptic tour
Then the guide will take you to the boat for lunch and sail to Kom Ombo to visit
the Church of the Martyr Margirgis
St. George, one of the most famous martyrs of Christianity, is known and honored by both the Eastern and Western Churches.
Because of his heroism and great courage, many countries took him as a patron patron and a symbol of equestrian and nobility,Enjoy watching that church and listening to its history through the guide

Next Stop: St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church and St. Michael Coptic Orthodox Church
Church of the Virgin and Angel Michael: It is the actual name of the church but is famous for the Cathedral of the Virgin and the Angel, the church was belonging to the Latin Catholics but became belonging to the Coptic Orthodox and they are now responsible and pray
Enjoy watching the church and what it include about drawings and paintings of history about that church
After that return to the boat to get lunch and overnight and complete sailing to Aswan

Day 4The Monastery of St. Simeon in Aswan ,and the Cathedral of Angel Mickhael in aswan

Early in the morning after breakfast you will leave the room and take your bags with and then the guide will come with a car adapted to visit
firstly you will go to The Monastery of St. Simeon in Aswan . The Monastery of St. Simeon in Aswan is one of the oldest Coptic Orthodox monasteries. It is one of the largest Coptic monasteries in the world and dates back to the sixth century. His original name was “Anba Hadra Monastery” and was restored in the tenth century. The monastery is located on a rocky elevation. The monastery will appear in front of you as if it were carved in the rock, as if it were an extension of the nature around it
take some pictures with this magnificent exterior view . When you enter the monastery, you will feel that you have suddenly moved to one of the old forts. Consider pictures of monks, inscriptions, and the remaining faded colors on the walls.
Your next step will the Cathedral of Angel Mickhael in aswan‏ . It is also the largest Coptic cathedral outside Cairo; it is also a tourist attraction for foreigners. you will find yourself in front of a huge building, Many domes, and a large marble square; surrounded by trees and Nile water. There are Arab inscriptions and ornaments that surround the Coptic paintings. The cathedral was designed to be in the modern style from the outside, and a more ancient style from the inside.
Finally you will transfer to To the train station / Aswan airport
