A guide will take you from your hotel in Luxor to start your religious tour in Naqada with a visit to the monastery of “The Cross and St. Shenouda”
The value of this monastery is very great, as some accounts have stated
This monastery is one of the oldest monasteries named after the cross, and was built by Queen Helena, mother of King Constantine
The Monastery of ” The Cross ” is a historic breakthrough and visitors from all over the world come to it as a tourist attraction to see the history of Egypt through the ages.

Monastery of St. George (also Deir al-Magmaa),
Located above a high area of sand at a height of about 6 meters allows its high location to oversee the rest of the monasteries scattered in the desert and called the “complex” monastery
The next significant monastery, located on a hill above the nature of the region topped by a distance of 10 meters or more, which gives a breathtaking view across the Nile Valley as it overlooks vast areas of agricultural land and the visitor to see the magic of this magnificent view in the dawn moments before sending the sun for its initial rays and also in the moments of sunset

The monastery of Saint Elias Bishoyawy originated as a wild church for this great martyr in the late fourth century AD
One historian attributed the present building of the monastery church to the eighth or ninth century on the basis of the form of the apse
Your next step will be The Monastery of the Holy Archangel Mickhael in Naqada . It consists of a small entrance hall from the middle of the western wall entering the main church.
All the domes of the monastery are low of mud brick

You will take a short break for lunch in a local restaurant
Your next step will be The monastery of St.Anba Andras (Abou El Leif‏)
The Monastery of Saint Abou El Leif i The church is located in the middle of the ring wall.
After truncating the room in the western corner of the church next to the entrance
The monastery officials say that the age of the tree is unknown and people from all over the world come to the monastery to visit the monastery and take a blessing from the sacred tree to cure their diseases.

After that you will The monastery of St Pisentius The monastery church was built in the seventh or eighth century AD is what remains of the old church with twelve dome.
The body of St Pisentius is located under the central altar of the monastery church and the monastery receives archaeological and pastoral attention

Monastery of the great martyr Abu Sfeen is located 10 km west of Naqada, about 200 meters southeast of the monastery of St. George complex, and the ratio of the monastery to the Bishop Bisanti wearing the spirit Bishop of Qeft, which I recommend his student to bury this place and not to go elsewhere His disciples built a dome above his grave to be a shrine for them.
